The leave ends upon the expiration of the duration for which the leave has been granted.
If, before the expiration of the leave period referred to in the first paragraph, the person for whose care the leave was granted passes away, or is no longer in a circumstance as referred to in Article 5:9, the leave shall terminate with effect from the day following the day on which this circumstance occurred.
Het verlof eindigt met het verstrijken van de duur waarvoor het verlof is verleend.
Indien voor het verstrijken van de in het eerste lid bedoelde verlofduur de persoon ten behoeve van wiens verzorging het verlof is verleend overlijdt, dan wel niet langer niet langer in een omstandigheid verkeert als bedoeld in artikel 5:9, eindigt het verlof met ingang van de dag na die waarop deze omstandigheid zich heeft voorgedaan.
