The leave referred to in Article 5:9 shall not commence until at least two weeks have elapsed after the employee has submitted the petition for leave referred to in Article 5:11.
By way of derogation from the first paragraph, the leave may, at the request of the employee, commence at an earlier time if the employer consents thereto.
Het verlof bedoeld in artikel 5:9 gaat niet in voordat ten minste twee weken zijn verstreken nadat de werknemer het verzoek om verlof bedoeld in artikel 5:11 heeft ingediend.
In afwijking van het eerste lid kan het verlof op verzoek van de werknemer ingaan op een eerder tijdstip indien de werkgever daarmee instemt.
