The finder may, by surrendering the object without delay to the occupant of the dwelling or the user or operator of the premises where the object was found, or to the person who supervises such premises on their behalf, cause their legal position, with all obligations attached thereto, to pass to that occupant, user or operator, on the understanding that no right to a reward shall exist.
De vinder kan, door de zaak onverwijld af te geven aan de bewoner van de woning of de gebruiker of exploitant van de ruimte waar de vondst is gedaan, dan wel aan degene die daar voor hem toezicht houdt, zijn rechtspositie met alle daaraan verbonden verplichtingen doen overgaan op die bewoner, gebruiker of exploitant met dien verstande dat geen recht op beloning bestaat.
