Those who provide or use information society services may address a legal person to be designated by Our Minister of Justice in agreement with Our Minister of Economic Affairs in order to:
to obtain general information on their contractual rights and obligations as well as on complaint procedures and legal remedies in the event of a dispute;
to obtain further details regarding the authorities or organisations from which they may obtain further information or practical assistance.
The legal person referred to in paragraph 1 shall, in the exercise of its tasks, cooperate with the corresponding organisations in other Member States of the European Union and the other States party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area.
The inspectors of the Tax Administration/Fiscal Information and Investigation Service – Economic Investigation Service (Belastingdienst/FIOD-ECD) are designated as officers charged with the investigation of violations of the regulations set forth in Articles 15d and 15e, paragraph 1.
Degenen die diensten van de informatiemaatschappij verlenen of gebruiken kunnen zich richten tot een door Onze Minister van Justitie in overeenstemming met Onze Minister van Economische Zaken aan te wijzen rechtspersoon teneinde:
algemene informatie te verkrijgen over hun contractuele rechten en plichten alsmede over klachtenprocedures en rechtsmiddelen in het geval van een geschil;
nadere gegevens te verkrijgen over de autoriteiten of organisaties waar zij nadere informatie of praktische bijstand kunnen krijgen.
De rechtspersoon, bedoeld in lid 1, werkt bij de uitoefening van zijn taken samen met de overeenkomstige organisaties in andere lidstaten van de Europese Unie en de overige staten die partij zijn bij de Overeenkomst betreffende de Europese Economische Ruimte.
De controleurs van de Belastingdienst/Fiscale Inlichtingen- en Opsporingsdienst – Economische Controle Dienst (Belastingdienst/FIOD-ECD) worden aangewezen als ambtenaren, belast met de opsporing van overtredingen van de voorschriften gesteld bij de artikelen 15d en 15e lid 1.
