If the debtor is in civil imprisonment (gijzeling), he is released therefrom by operation of law by the judgment applying the debt restructuring scheme (schuldsaneringsregeling), unless the civil imprisonment takes place otherwise than on account of a claim in respect of which the debt restructuring scheme operates.
Indien de schuldenaar zich in gijzeling bevindt, is hij daaruit van rechtswege ontslagen door de uitspraak tot toepassing van de schuldsaneringsregeling, tenzij de gijzeling plaatsvindt anders dan wegens een vordering ten aanzien waarvan de schuldsaneringsregeling werkt.
