The bankrupt shall participate in the verification meeting in a manner to be determined by the supervisory judge, in order to provide there all information concerning the causes of the bankruptcy and the state of the estate that is requested of him by the supervisory judge. The creditors may request the supervisory judge to ask the bankrupt for information regarding specific points to be indicated by them. The questions put to the bankrupt and the answers given by him shall be recorded in the official report.
De gefailleerde neemt op een door de rechter-commissaris te bepalen wijze aan de verificatievergadering deel, ten einde aldaar alle inlichtingen over de oorzaken van het faillissement en de staat van de boedel te geven, die hem door de rechter-commissaris gevraagd worden. De schuldeisers kunnen de rechter-commissaris verzoeken omtrent bepaalde door hen op te geven punten inlichtingen aan de gefailleerde te vragen. De vragen aan de gefailleerde gesteld en de door hem gegeven antwoorden worden in het proces-verbaal opgetekend.
