The bank line within the meaning of the preceding five articles shall be determined by the normal water level, or, in the case of waters the level of which fluctuates periodically, by the normal high-water level. Land overgrown with plants other than those usually living in water shall, however, be considered to lie on the landward side of the bank line, even if such land is flooded at high water.
De oeverlijn in de zin van de vorige vijf artikelen wordt bepaald door de normale waterstand, of, bij wateren waarvan het peil periodiek wisselt, door de normale hoogwaterstand. Grond, met andere dan gewoonlijk in het water levende planten begroeid, wordt echter gerekend aan de landzijde van de oeverlijn te liggen, ook al wordt die grond bij hoogwater overstroomd.
