A penalty may be imposed in whole or in part conditionally. The probationary period shall be at most two months.
The director shall in any event impose the condition that the juvenile refrains from committing acts that are incompatible with the order or safety within the institution or with the undisturbed execution of the deprivation of liberty. The director may impose other conditions regarding the conduct of the juvenile. The imposed conditions shall be stated in the notification referred to in Article 62, paragraph 1.
In the event of a breach of a condition during the probationary period, the director may determine that the imposed suspended sentence shall be executed in whole or in part.
The director may convert an unconditional penalty in whole or in part into a conditional penalty.
Een straf kan geheel of ten dele voorwaardelijk worden opgelegd. De proeftijd bedraagt ten hoogste twee maanden.
De directeur stelt in elk geval als voorwaarde dat de jeugdige zich onthoudt van het plegen van feiten die onverenigbaar zijn met de orde of de veiligheid in de inrichting dan wel met de ongestoorde tenuitvoerlegging van de vrijheidsbeneming. De directeur kan andere voorwaarden aan het gedrag van de jeugdige stellen. De opgelegde voorwaarden worden vermeld in de mededeling, bedoeld in artikel 62, eerste lid.
Bij het overtreden van een voorwaarde binnen de proeftijd kan de directeur bepalen dat de opgelegde voorwaardelijke straf geheel of ten dele ten uitvoer wordt gelegd.
De directeur kan een onvoorwaardelijke straf geheel of ten dele omzetten in een voorwaardelijke straf.
