For the purpose of hearing and deciding criminal cases in the first instance, other than subdistrict court cases as referred to in Article 47, paragraph 1, the board shall constitute single-judge chambers. The board shall determine the composition of these chambers.
The person sitting in a single-judge chamber as referred to in the first paragraph shall bear the title of police judge (politierechter).
Het bestuur vormt voor het behandelen en beslissen van strafzaken in eerste aanleg, niet zijnde kantonzaken als bedoeld in artikel 47, eerste lid, enkelvoudige kamers. Het bestuur bepaalt de bezetting van deze kamers.
Degene die zitting heeft in een enkelvoudige kamer als bedoeld in het eerste lid draagt de titel van politierechter.
