The Supreme Court shall provide the petitioner and the official to whose conduct the petition relates the opportunity to be heard, whether or not in each other's presence, in response to the claim of the Procurator General.
The examination shall take place in chambers. The court may hear witnesses, either upon the petition of the Procurator General, or upon the petition of one of the persons referred to in the first paragraph, or of its own motion.
The Supreme Court shall afford the board of the court of appeal or the district court, respectively, the opportunity to provide information, either in writing or orally, regarding a pending complaint and to express its opinion thereon, if the complaint is directed against a judicial officer charged with the administration of justice who is employed at that court of appeal or that district court, respectively.
De Hoge Raad stelt de verzoeker en de ambtenaar op wiens gedraging het verzoekschrift betrekking heeft in de gelegenheid naar aanleiding van de vordering van de procureur-generaal, al dan niet in elkaars tegenwoordigheid, te worden gehoord.
Het onderzoek geschiedt in raadkamer. Het college kan, hetzij op verzoek van de procureur-generaal, hetzij op verzoek van een der in het eerste lid bedoelde personen, hetzij ambtshalve getuigen horen.
De Hoge Raad stelt het bestuur van het gerechtshof onderscheidenlijk de rechtbank in de gelegenheid omtrent een aanhangige klacht schriftelijk of mondeling inlichtingen te verstrekken en van zijn gevoelen daaromtrent te doen blijk geven, indien de klacht is gericht tegen een rechterlijk ambtenaar met rechtspraak belast, werkzaam bij dat gerechtshof onderscheidenlijk die rechtbank.
