The Supreme Court shall decide by means of a judgment, in which it includes its findings regarding the objections mentioned in the petition and expresses its opinion on the merits thereof.
A copy of the judgment shall be sent to the petitioner and to the official to whose conduct the petition relates. The Supreme Court shall send a copy of the judgment to the board of the court concerned or, if the complaint is directed against a judicial officer charged with the administration of justice who is employed at the Supreme Court, to the President of the Supreme Court.
De Hoge Raad beslist bij een arrest, waarin hij zijn bevindingen met betrekking tot de in het verzoekschrift genoemde bezwaren opneemt en zijn oordeel uitspreekt over de gegrondheid daarvan.
Een afschrift van het arrest wordt gezonden aan de verzoeker en aan de ambtenaar op wiens gedraging het verzoekschrift betrekking heeft. De Hoge Raad zendt een afschrift van het arrest aan het bestuur van het betrokken gerecht dan wel, indien de klacht gericht is tegen een rechterlijk ambtenaar met rechtspraak belast, werkzaam bij de Hoge Raad, aan de president van de Hoge Raad.
