The detainee has the right to social care and assistance.
The director shall ensure that probation officers and eligible behavioural experts are able to provide the care and assistance described in the first paragraph within the institution.
The director may grant other persons access to the institution for the purpose of providing assistance to detainees regarding the essential conditions for participation in social life.
The director shall ensure the transfer of the detainee to the designated place if the care and assistance described in the first paragraph necessitate such a transfer and such a transfer is compatible with the undisturbed execution of the deprivation of liberty. If the detainee is transferred for the purpose of providing forensic care as referred to in the Forensic Care Act (Wet forensische zorg), the transfer shall take place in accordance with the provisions of that Act.
De gedetineerde heeft recht op sociale verzorging en hulpverlening.
De directeur draagt zorg dat reclasseringswerkers en daarvoor in aanmerking komende gedragsdeskundigen de in het eerste lid omschreven zorg en hulp in de inrichting kunnen verlenen.
De directeur kan aan andere personen toegang tot de inrichting verlenen ten behoeve van hulpverlening aan gedetineerden met betrekking tot de essentiële voorwaarden voor deelname aan het maatschappelijk leven.
De directeur draagt zorg voor overbrenging van de gedetineerde naar de daartoe bestemde plaats, indien de in het eerste lid omschreven zorg en hulp dit noodzakelijk maken en een dergelijke overbrenging zich verdraagt met de ongestoorde tenuitvoerlegging van de vrijheidsbeneming. Indien de gedetineerde wordt overgebracht ten behoeve van de verlening van forensische zorg bedoeld in de Wet forensische zorg, geschiedt de overbrenging overeenkomstig de bepalingen van die wet.
