Article 36

When a limitation period concerning a right of action, as referred to in Article 26, would expire during the bankruptcy or within six months after the end thereof, the period continues to run until six months after the end of the bankruptcy have elapsed.
Paragraph 1 applies mutatis mutandis to forfeiture periods commencing by operation of law.
Wanneer een verjaringstermijn betreffende een rechtsvordering, als bedoeld in artikel 26, zou aflopen gedurende het faillissement of binnen zes maanden na het einde daarvan, loopt de termijn voort totdat zes maanden na het einde van het faillissement zijn verstreken.
Het eerste lid is van overeenkomstige toepassing op van rechtswege aanvangende vervaltermijnen.
