The subdistrict court may, at the petition of the mentor or of its own motion, appoint an expert to report on the question of whether the mentor meets the requirements set forth in Articles 7 through 10.
The appointment referred to in paragraph 1 shall be valid for a maximum duration of three years. Reappointment for a maximum of this term is possible.
The expert who has accepted his appointment is obliged to complete the assignments arising from the appointment independently and to the best of his knowledge.
De kantonrechter kan op verzoek van de mentor of ambtshalve een deskundige benoemen die bericht over de vraag of de mentor voldoet aan de eisen gesteld in de artikelen 7 tot en met 10.
De benoeming, bedoeld in het eerste lid, geldt voor de duur van ten hoogste drie jaren. Herbenoeming voor ten hoogste deze termijn is mogelijk.
De deskundige die zijn benoeming heeft aanvaard, is verplicht de opdrachten die uit de benoeming voortvloeien, onafhankelijk en naar beste weten te volbrengen.
