The complaints committee shall provide the complainant and the head of the institution the opportunity to make oral comments regarding the complaint, unless it deems the complaint immediately manifestly inadmissible, manifestly unfounded, or manifestly well-founded.
The complainant and the head of the institution may submit to the chair of the complaints committee the questions they wish to see put to each other.
The complaints committee may hear the head of the institution and the complainant outside of each other's presence. In that case, they shall be given the opportunity to submit in advance the questions they wish to have asked, and the substantive content of the statement thus made shall be communicated orally by the chair of the complaints committee to the complainant and the head of the institution, respectively.
The complaints committee may also obtain information from other persons, either orally or in writing. If information is obtained orally, the second and third paragraphs shall apply mutatis mutandis.
De beklagcommissie stelt de klager en het hoofd van de instelling in de gelegenheid omtrent het klaagschrift mondeling opmerkingen te maken, tenzij zij het beklag aanstonds kennelijk niet-ontvankelijk, kennelijk ongegrond of kennelijk gegrond acht.
De klager en het hoofd van de instelling kunnen de voorzitter van de beklagcommissie de vragen opgeven die zij aan elkaar gesteld wensen te zien.
De beklagcommissie kan het hoofd van de instelling en de klager buiten elkaars aanwezigheid horen. In dat geval worden zij in de gelegenheid gesteld vooraf de vragen op te geven die zij gesteld wensen te zien en wordt de zakelijke inhoud van de aldus afgelegde verklaring door de voorzitter van de beklagcommissie aan de klager onderscheidenlijk het hoofd van de instelling mondeling medegedeeld.
De beklagcommissie kan ook bij andere personen mondeling of schriftelijk inlichtingen inwinnen. Indien mondeling inlichtingen worden ingewonnen zijn het tweede en derde lid van overeenkomstige toepassing.
