The head of the institution shall ensure the social care and assistance, training and education, and recreational and sports activities for the patients, insofar as these are not already provided for in the nursing and treatment plan of the patient concerned.
The head of the institution shall ensure that a library facility is available. The house rules shall set forth regulations regarding the use of the library by persons under treatment.
The person in care has the right to spend at least one hour per day in the open air.
Our Minister shall establish rules regarding the conditions under which a contribution may be granted towards the costs that may be incurred by the person being nursed in connection with following education and participating in other educational activities, insofar as these are not provided for within the institution. These conditions may relate to the nature, duration, and costs of these activities, as well as the prior education of the person being nursed and their progress.
Het hoofd van de instelling draagt zorg voor de sociale verzorging en hulpverlening, vorming en onderwijs, ontspannings- en sportactiviteiten voor de verpleegden, voor zover daarin niet reeds is voorzien in het verplegings- en behandelingsplan van de betrokken verpleegde.
Het hoofd van de instelling draagt zorg dat een bibliotheekvoorziening aanwezig is. In de huisregels worden regels gesteld omtrent het gebruik van de bibliotheek door verpleegden.
De verpleegde heeft recht op verblijf in de buitenlucht gedurende tenminste een uur per dag.
Onze Minister stelt regels omtrent de voorwaarden waaronder een tegemoetkoming kan worden verleend in de kosten die voor de verpleegde aan het volgen van onderwijs en het deelnemen aan andere educatieve activiteiten voor zover hierin niet in de instelling wordt voorzien, kunnen zijn verbonden. Deze voorwaarden kunnen betreffen de aard, de duur en de kosten van deze activiteiten alsmede de vooropleiding van de verpleegde en diens vorderingen.
