The director shall ensure that, upon entry into the institution, the juvenile is informed in writing and, as far as possible, in a language understandable to him, of his rights and obligations established by or pursuant to this Act.
The juvenile is hereby specifically pointed out their authority:
to file a notice of objection or a petition in accordance with Chapter IV;
to apply to the monthly commissioner of the supervisory committee in accordance with Chapter XII;
to file a petition or an appeal in accordance with Chapters XIII, XIV and XV.
De directeur draagt zorg dat de jeugdige bij binnenkomst in de inrichting, schriftelijk en zoveel mogelijk in een voor hem begrijpelijke taal, op de hoogte wordt gesteld van zijn bij of krachtens deze wet gestelde rechten en plichten.
De jeugdige wordt hierbij in het bijzonder gewezen op diens bevoegdheid:
een bezwaar- of verzoekschrift in te dienen overeenkomstig hoofdstuk IV;
zich te wenden tot de maandcommissaris van de commissie van toezicht overeenkomstig hoofdstuk XII;
een klaag- of beroepschrift in te dienen overeenkomstig de hoofdstukken XIII, XIV en XV.
