in forceThe content of the health insurance · The consequences of non-payment of the premium and the administrative premium
By or pursuant to an Order in Council, it may be determined that, in cases to be designated therein, a healthcare allowance as referred to in the Healthcare Allowance Act (Wet op de zorgtoeslag) or an advance payment thereof to be paid to the policyholder or their partner shall, by way of derogation from Article 25, paragraph 1, of the General Act on Income-Related Schemes (Algemene wet inkomensafhankelijke regelingen), be paid in whole or in part, directly or through the intervention of the CAK, to the health insurer as a contribution towards the premium and, insofar as the healthcare allowance or the advance payment thereof is then still sufficient, the excess (eigen risico), if, with regard to a health insurance policy, excluding interest and collection costs, an arrears in the payment of the premium due has arisen amounting to three monthly premiums.
Rules may be laid down by ministerial regulation with regard to the first paragraph.
Bij of krachtens algemene maatregel van bestuur kan worden bepaald dat in daarbij aan te wijzen gevallen een aan de verzekeringnemer of zijn partner uit te betalen zorgtoeslag als bedoeld in de Wet op de zorgtoeslag of een voorschot daarop, in afwijking van artikel 25, eerste lid, van de Algemene wet inkomensafhankelijke regelingen, als tegemoetkoming in de premie en, voor zover de zorgtoeslag of het voorschot daarop dan nog toereikend is, het eigen risico, geheel of gedeeltelijk, direct of door tussenkomst van het CAK aan de zorgverzekeraar wordt uitbetaald indien ten aanzien van een zorgverzekering, rente en incassokosten buiten beschouwing latend, een achterstand in de betaling van de verschuldigde premie ter hoogte van drie maandpremies is ontstaan.
Bij ministeriële regeling kunnen regels worden gesteld met betrekking tot het eerste lid.
