The board shall establish a case distribution regulation, in which it is determined per court location for which categories of cases hearings are held at that court location. In doing so, the interest of ensuring good accessibility to the administration of justice shall in any event be taken into account.
Before the board of the court adopts the case distribution regulations, it shall provide the chief public prosecutor the opportunity to express their views regarding the provisions to be included in the regulations concerning criminal cases.
Before the management of the court of appeal adopts the case distribution regulations, it shall provide the national chief advocate general with the opportunity to express his views regarding the provisions to be included in the regulations concerning criminal cases.
Het bestuur stelt een zaaksverdelingsreglement vast, waarin per zittingsplaats wordt bepaald voor welke categorieën van zaken in die zittingsplaats zittingen worden gehouden. Daarbij wordt in ieder geval rekening gehouden met het belang van een goede toegankelijkheid van rechtspraak.
Alvorens het bestuur van de rechtbank het zaaksverdelingsreglement vaststelt, stelt het de hoofdofficier van justitie in de gelegenheid zijn zienswijze naar voren te brengen over hetgeen in het reglement zal worden bepaald ten aanzien van strafzaken.
