Article 1
in forceFor the purposes of this Act, the following definitions apply:
Our Minister, Our Minister of Social Affairs and Employment;
employer and employee: parties to an employment agreement as referred to in Article 610, paragraph 1, of Book 7 of the Civil Code;
the Employee Insurance Agency (Uitvoeringsinstituut werknemersverzekeringen): the Employee Insurance Agency (Uitvoeringsinstituut werknemersverzekeringen), as referred to in Chapter 5 of the Work and Income (Implementation Structure) Act;
committee: the committee referred to in Article 671a, paragraph 2, of Book 7 of the Civil Code;
jurisdictional area: an area determined by Our Minister.
By ministerial regulation, categories of persons may, for the application of this Act, be equated with employees as referred to in the first paragraph, point (b).
In deze wet wordt verstaan onder:
Onze Minister, Onze Minister van Sociale Zaken en Werkgelegenheid;
werkgever en werknemer: partijen bij een arbeidsovereenkomst als bedoeld in artikel 610, eerste lid, van Boek 7 van het Burgerlijk Wetboek;
het Uitvoeringsinstituut werknemersverzekeringen: het Uitvoeringsinstituut werknemersverzekeringen, genoemd in hoofdstuk 5 van de Wet structuur uitvoeringsorganisatie werk en inkomen;
commissie: de commissie, bedoeld in artikel 671a, tweede lid, van Boek 7 van het Burgerlijk Wetboek;
werkgebied: een door Onze Minister vastgesteld gebied.
Bij ministeriële regeling kunnen categorieën van personen, voor de toepassing van deze wet, gelijk worden gesteld met werknemers als bedoeld in het eerste lid, onderdeel b.
