Article 1
in forceIn this Act and the provisions based thereon, the following definitions shall apply:
Our Minister: Our Minister of Health, Welfare and Sport;
Board: Donor Data Artificial Insemination Board (College donorgegevens kunstmatige bevruchting) as referred to in Article 4, paragraph 1;
artificial donor insemination: the professional or commercial performance of acts aimed at achieving a pregnancy other than by natural means, using:
sperm cells of a person other than the spouse, registered partnership or other life companion of the woman or
egg cells of another woman;
donor: the person who has provided sperm cells or egg cells for the purpose of artificial donor insemination;
the Framework Act: the Independent Administrative Bodies Framework Act;
performer: an institution or a natural person who, other than in the service of or by direct or indirect order of an institution, performs artificial donor insemination;
institution: a legal person that performs or causes to be performed artificial donor insemination, an organisational association of natural persons that performs or causes to be performed artificial donor insemination, or a natural person that causes artificial donor insemination to be performed;
donor code: the number assigned as such to a donor in accordance with this Act;
mother code: the number linked as such to a donor code in accordance with this Act;
statutory maximum number of mother codes: the maximum number of mother codes linked to a donor code as determined by administrative order.
In deze wet en de daarop berustende bepalingen wordt verstaan onder:
Onze Minister: Onze Minister van Volksgezondheid, Welzijn en Sport;
College: College donorgegevens kunstmatige bevruchting als bedoeld in artikel 4, eerste lid;
kunstmatige donorbevruchting: het beroeps-of bedrijfsmatig verrichten van handelingen, gericht op het anders dan op natuurlijke wijze tot stand komen van een zwangerschap met gebruikmaking van:
zaadcellen van een ander dan de echtgenoot, geregistreerde partner of andere levensgezel van de vrouw of
eicellen van een andere vrouw;
donor: degene die zaadcellen of eicellen heeft afgestaan ten behoeve van kunstmatige donorbevruchting;
de Kaderwet: de Kaderwet zelfstandige bestuursorganen;
verrichter: instelling of een natuurlijke persoon die, anders dan in dienst of onmiddellijk of middellijk in opdracht van een instelling, kunstmatige donorbevruchting verricht;
instelling: rechtspersoon die kunstmatige donorbevruchting verricht of doet verrichten, een organisatorisch verband van natuurlijke personen die kunstmatige donorbevruchting verricht of doet verrichten, dan wel een natuurlijk persoon die kunstmatige donorbevruchting doet verrichten;
donorcode: het als zodanig overeenkomstig deze wet aan een donor toegekend nummer;
moedercode: het als zodanig overeenkomstig deze wet aan een donorcode gekoppeld nummer;
wettelijk maximumaantal moedercodes: het bij algemene maatregel van bestuur bepaalde maximumaantal moedercodes dat aan een donorcode wordt gekoppeld.
