If an address in the Netherlands is known to the Employee Insurance Agency (Uitvoeringsinstituut werknemersverzekeringen) for the applicant or recipient of a benefit in connection with pregnancy and childbirth, while it has been officially recorded in the personal records database (basisregistratie personen) that said person has departed to an unknown country of residence, the Employee Insurance Agency shall request that person to have the deviating registration in the personal records database rectified within a reasonable period.
If, after the expiry of this period, the deviating registration has not been terminated, or if it does not appear from the Personal Records Database (basisregistratie personen) that the municipal executive (college van burgemeester en wethouders) of the relevant municipality has initiated an investigation into the address details, the Employee Insurance Agency (Uitvoeringsinstituut werknemersverzekeringen) shall suspend the payment of the benefit to the person entitled to the benefit.
The suspension shall be terminated as soon as it has been established that the person referred to in the second paragraph resides or stays abroad, or that an address in the Netherlands has been recorded in the Personal Records Database.
If the investigation by the municipal executive (college van burgemeester en wethouders) has been completed and the person referred to in the second paragraph remains registered in the personal records database (basisregistratie personen) by operation of law with data concerning their departure from the Netherlands, the Employee Insurance Agency (Uitvoeringsinstituut werknemersverzekeringen) shall suspend the payment of the benefit until residence abroad can be established or an address in the Netherlands has been recorded in the personal records database.
Is van de aanvrager of ontvanger van een uitkering in verband met zwangerschap en bevalling bij het Uitvoeringsinstituut werknemersverzekeringen een adres in Nederland bekend, terwijl in de basisregistratie personen ambtshalve is opgenomen dat hij is vertrokken naar een onbekend land van verblijf, dan verzoekt het Uitvoeringsinstituut werknemersverzekeringen hem de afwijkende registratie in de basisregistratie personen binnen een redelijke termijn ongedaan te laten maken.
Wanneer na afloop van deze termijn, de afwijkende registratie niet is beëindigd of als uit de basisregistratie personen niet blijkt dat het college van burgemeester en wethouders van de desbetreffende gemeente de gegevens over het adres in onderzoek heeft genomen, schort het Uitvoeringsinstituut werknemersverzekeringen de betaling van de uitkering aan de persoon, die recht heeft op de uitkering, op.
De opschorting wordt beëindigd zodra is vastgesteld dat de persoon, bedoeld in het tweede lid, in het buitenland woont of verblijft of dat een adres in Nederland in de basisregistratie personen is opgenomen.
Indien het onderzoek van het college van burgemeester en wethouders is afgerond en de persoon, bedoeld in het tweede lid, in de basisregistratie personen ambtshalve opgenomen blijft met gegevens over het vertrek uit Nederland, schort het Uitvoeringsinstituut werknemersverzekeringen de betaling van de uitkering op tot verblijf in het buitenland kan worden vastgesteld of een adres in Nederland in de basisregistratie personen is opgenomen.
