The countries of the Union shall, in accordance with their national legislation, grant temporary protection to patentable inventions, utility models, industrial designs or models, as well as to trademarks, in respect of goods which shall be exhibited at official or officially recognised international exhibitions held in the territory of any of those countries.

2).

This temporary protection shall not extend the periods referred to in Article 4. If the right of priority is subsequently invoked, the Administration of each country may provide that the period shall commence from the date on which the product was introduced into the exhibition.

3).

Each country may require such evidence as it deems necessary as proof of the identity of the exhibited object and of the date on which it was placed for exhibition.

1).
