The hearing committee shall hold a hearing and deliberate with a presiding member and two hearing members, of whom one hearing member is drawn from the circle of tenants and one hearing member is drawn from the circle of landlords.
The presiding judge may act as the chair of the hearing.
By way of derogation from the first paragraph, persons who do not originate from the circle of tenants or the circle of landlords, respectively, may be a member of a hearing committee that deals with disputes as referred to in Article 4a. Article 3d, third paragraph, shall apply mutatis mutandis.
De zittingscommissie houdt zitting en beraadslaagt met een zittingsvoorzitter en twee zittingsleden, waarvan een zittingslid afkomstig is uit de kring van huurders en een zittingslid afkomstig is uit de kring van verhuurders.
De voorzitter kan optreden als zittingsvoorzitter.
In afwijking van het eerste lid kunnen personen die niet uit de kring van huurders onderscheidenlijk de kring van verhuurders voortkomen, zittingslid zijn van een zittingscommissie die geschillen behandelt als bedoeld in artikel 4a. Artikel 3d, derde lid, is van overeenkomstige toepassing.
