A deprivation of liberty ordered pursuant to Article 27 shall be terminated—without prejudice to the possibility of further deprivation of liberty on other grounds—as soon as:
such is ordered by the court or by the public prosecutor, ex officio or upon the petition of the detainee or his counsel, or by the Supreme Court in its decision on an appeal in cassation;
has lasted for thirty days, unless the court has meanwhile, upon the claim of the public prosecutor, extended this period.
The public prosecutor shall order the termination of the deprivation of liberty in any event as soon as he has become aware of a decision by Our Minister to reject the request for extradition.
Een krachtens artikel 27 bevolen vrijheidsbeneming wordt - behoudens de mogelijkheid van verdere vrijheidsbeneming uit anderen hoofde - beëindigd, zodra:
zulks door de rechtbank of door de officier van justitie, ambtshalve of op verzoek van de gedetineerde of diens raadsman, dan wel door de Hoge Raad bij zijn beslissing op een beroep in cassatie wordt gelast;
zij dertig dagen heeft geduurd, tenzij de rechtbank inmiddels, op vordering van de officier van justitie, deze termijn heeft verlengd.
De officier van justitie gelast de beëindiging van de vrijheidsbeneming in elk geval zodra hij kennis heeft gekregen van een afwijzende beslissing van Onze Minister op het verzoek tot uitlevering.
