If a petitioner, an interested party, or any other person whose statement may be of significance in connection with the assessment of the petition and who must be examined, resides in the Netherlands but is unable to proceed to the courthouse, the examination may take place at their place of residence. Should the judge have to travel outside their jurisdiction for this purpose, they may request a judge within whose jurisdiction the person concerned resides to conduct the examination.
Indien een verzoeker, een belanghebbende, of een ander wiens verklaring in verband met de beoordeling van het verzoek van betekenis kan zijn en die moet worden ondervraagd, in Nederland verblijft, doch buiten staat is zich naar het gerechtsgebouw te begeven, kan de ondervraging op diens verblijfplaats geschieden. Zou de rechter zich daartoe buiten zijn rechtsgebied moeten begeven, dan kan hij een rechter binnen wiens rechtsgebied de betrokkene verblijft, verzoeken de ondervraging te verrichten.
