In the Netherlands, by Act of Parliament, and in Aruba, Curaçao and Sint Maarten, by national ordinance, it may be declared that the mutual arrangement contained in this Kingdom Act shall be terminated. As of the commencement of the third calendar year following that of the promulgation of such an Act of Parliament or national ordinance, this Kingdom Act shall acquire the status of an Act of Parliament in the Netherlands and the status of a national ordinance in Aruba, Curaçao and Sint Maarten. The provisions of the preceding sentences do not apply with respect to Articles 40 up to and including 45 and Article 59.
In Nederland kan bij wet en in Aruba, Curaçao en Sint Maarten kan bij landsverordening worden verklaard, dat de in deze rijkswet vervatte onderlinge regeling dient te worden beëindigd. Met ingang van het derde kalenderjaar na dat van afkondiging van zodanige wet of landsverordening verkrijgt deze rijkswet in Nederland de staat van wet en in Aruba, Curaçao en Sint Maarten de staat van landsverordening. Het bepaalde in de vorige volzinnen geldt niet met betrekking tot de artikelen 40 tot en met 45 en artikel 59.
