The members of the supervisory committee shall be appointed by Our Minister. Our Minister shall designate a chairperson from among the members.
A secretary is attached to the committee. This person is not a member of the committee. The secretary is appointed and dismissed by Our Minister. The secretary of the supervisory committee is also the secretary of the complaints committee.
The committee may designate one or more deputy secretaries from among its members to perform certain secretarial duties in consultation with the secretary and to replace the secretary in the event of their absence. Our Minister may appoint one or more deputy secretaries to a supervisory committee who are not members of the committee.
Our Minister shall decide on a petition for appointment within three months.
De leden van de commissie van toezicht worden door Onze Minister benoemd. Onze Minister wijst uit de leden een voorzitter aan.
Aan de commissie is een secretaris verbonden. Deze is geen lid van de commissie. De secretaris wordt door Onze Minister benoemd en ontslagen. De secretaris van de commissie van toezicht is tevens secretaris van de beklagcommissie.
De commissie kan uit haar midden een of meer plaatsvervangende secretarissen aanwijzen om, in overleg met de secretaris, bepaalde secretariaatswerkzaamheden te verrichten en de secretaris bij diens afwezigheid te vervangen. Onze Minister kan aan een commissie van toezicht een of meerdere plaatsvervangende secretarissen toevoegen die geen lid zijn van de commissie.
Onze Minister beslist binnen drie maanden op een verzoek tot benoeming.
