Article 65

Every person is prohibited from further disclosing anything that becomes apparent to him or is communicated to him concerning the person or affairs of another, arising from or in connection with any activity in the execution of this Act, beyond what is necessary for the execution of this Act or what is prescribed or permitted pursuant to this Act.
The prohibition contained in the first paragraph shall not apply if:
any statutory provision requires publication;
the person to whom the data relate has declared in writing to have no objection to the provision of such data;
the data are not traceable to individual natural persons.
For the purpose of scientific research or statistics, data may be provided to third parties upon request, insofar as the privacy of the persons concerned is not disproportionately harmed thereby.
The person who provides data on the basis of Articles 63 to 68 inclusive must verify whether the person to whom the data are provided can reasonably be considered authorised to obtain those data.
Het is een ieder verboden hetgeen hem uit of in verband met enige werkzaamheid bij de uitvoering van deze wet over de persoon of zaken van een ander blijkt of wordt meegedeeld, verder bekend te maken dan voor de uitvoering van deze wet noodzakelijk is dan wel op grond van deze wet is voorgeschreven of toegestaan.
Het in het eerste lid vervatte verbod is niet van toepassing indien:
enig wettelijk voorschrift tot bekendmaking verplicht;
degene op wie de gegevens betrekking hebben schriftelijk heeft verklaard tegen de verstrekking van deze gegevens geen bezwaar te hebben;
de gegevens niet herleidbaar zijn tot individuele natuurlijke personen.
Ten behoeve van wetenschappelijk onderzoek of statistiek kunnen desgevraagd gegevens aan derden worden verstrekt voorzover de persoonlijke levenssfeer van de betrokkenen daardoor niet onevenredig wordt geschaad.
Degene die op grond van de artikelen 63 tot en met 68 gegevens verstrekt dient na te gaan of degene aan wie de gegevens worden verstrekt redelijkerwijs bevoegd is te achten om die gegevens te verkrijgen.
