The issuing examining magistrate is authorised to maintain direct contact with the executing judicial authority.
If the authority of another state or of an international organization is competent to waive a privilege or an immunity from criminal prosecution or from the enforcement of penalties enjoyed by the requested person, the issuing examining magistrate shall request such waiver.
A notification as referred to in Article 4, paragraphs one and two, shall be issued by the issuing examining magistrate, as much as possible through the intervention of the public prosecutor, to one or more national units of the police, upon submission of a certified copy of the European arrest warrant issued by him.
De uitvaardigende rechter-commissaris is bevoegd rechtstreeks contact te onderhouden met de uitvoerende justitiële autoriteit.
Indien de autoriteit van een andere staat of van een internationale organisatie bevoegd is tot opheffing van een voorrecht of van een immuniteit van strafvervolging of van de tenuitvoerlegging van straffen die de opgeëiste persoon geniet, verzoekt de uitvaardigende rechter-commissaris hierom.
Een signalering als bedoeld in artikel 4, eerste en tweede lid, draagt de uitvaardigende rechter-commissaris, zo veel mogelijk door tussenkomst van de officier van justitie op aan een of meerdere landelijke eenheden van de politie, onder overlegging van een gewaarmerkt afschrift van het door hem afgegeven Europees aanhoudingsbevel.
