A Dutch cultural audiovisual product is understood to mean a European production within the meaning of Article 1, point (n), of the European Directive, not being a report or the coverage of one or more sporting events or sports competitions, which satisfies at least two of the following conditions, of which at least one of the conditions mentioned under (a) or (b):
the scenario has been written for at least 75 percent in the Dutch or Frisian language;
the main characters express themselves for at least 75 percent in the Dutch or Frisian language;
The scenario is based on an original literary work in the Dutch or Frisian language;
the main theme relates to Dutch culture, history, society or politics.
Onder Nederlands cultureel audiovisueel product wordt verstaan een Europese productie in de zin van artikel 1, onderdeel n, van de Europese richtlijn, niet zijnde een verslag of de weergave van een of meer sportevenementen of sportwedstrijden, die voldoet aan ten minste twee van de volgende voorwaarden, waarvan ten minste één van de onder a of b genoemde voorwaarden:
het scenario is voor ten minste 75 procent geschreven in de Nederlandse of Friese taal;
de hoofdpersonages drukken zich voor ten minste 75 procent uit in de Nederlandse of Friese taal;
het scenario is gebaseerd op een origineel literair werk in de Nederlandse of Friese taal;
het hoofdthema houdt verband met de Nederlandse cultuur, geschiedenis, maatschappij of politiek.
