In the event that an interested party, as referred to in Article 54, paragraph 1, under c, is of the opinion that a fact has occurred as referred to in Article 29 or in Article 35 of Book 5 of the Civil Code, he may request the Service to conduct an investigation into the matter. The decision on the petition shall be taken within eight weeks after receipt of the application.
In the event that the petition is granted, the Service shall give notice of the intention to conduct an on-site investigation in accordance with Article 57, paragraph 1. Article 57, paragraph 2, shall apply mutatis mutandis.
Ingeval een belanghebbende, bedoeld in artikel 54, eerste lid, onder c, meent dat zich een feit heeft voorgedaan, als bedoeld in artikel 29 dan wel in artikel 35 van Boek 5 van het Burgerlijk Wetboek, kan hij de Dienst verzoeken, daarnaar een onderzoek in te stellen. Binnen acht weken na ontvangst van de aanvraag wordt de beslissing op het verzoek genomen.
In geval van toewijzing van het verzoek wordt door de Dienst van het voornemen tot het houden van een onderzoek ter plaatse mededeling gedaan overeenkomstig artikel 57, eerste lid. Artikel 57, tweede lid, is van overeenkomstige toepassing.
