The debtor of the bankrupt who wishes to set off his debt against a claim to order or to bearer, is obliged to prove that he had already acquired the instrument in good faith at the time of the declaration of bankruptcy.

De schuldenaar van de gefailleerde die zijn schuld wil verrekenen met een vordering aan order of toonder, is gehouden te bewijzen dat hij het papier reeds op het ogenblik der faillietverklaring te goeder trouw had verkregen.
