Upon pronouncing the bankruptcy, the court appoints one of its members as supervisory judge (rechter-commissaris) and it appoints one or more trustees in bankruptcy (curatoren). De Nederlandsche Bank N.V. may make nominations for the appointment of the trustee or trustees.
If the petition is granted, the order shall be pronounced at a public hearing and an extract thereof shall be published without delay by the bankruptcy trustee in the *Staatscourant*, the Official Journal of the European Union, as well as in at least two Dutch daily newspapers to be designated by the court and at least two national daily newspapers to be designated by the court of each Member State where a branch of the bank is located or to which it provides services. The extracts shall state the name and seat of the bank, the domicile or the office of the bankruptcy trustee as well as the date of the order. The publication in the national daily newspapers shall be made in the official language or languages of the Member State concerned. In the publication in the Official Journal of the European Union and the national daily newspapers of each Member State where the bank has a branch or to which it provides services, it shall moreover be stated that, subject to exceptions, Dutch law is applicable to the bankruptcy, the legal basis, whether the European Central Bank or De Nederlandsche Bank N.V. is the competent supervisory authority, as well as the final date on which an appeal in cassation against the order may be lodged, stating the full address of the Supreme Court (*Hoge Raad*) and the subject matter of the order.
Bij het uitspreken van het faillissement benoemt de rechtbank een van haar leden tot rechter-commissaris en benoemt zij een of meer curatoren. De Nederlandsche Bank N.V. kan voor de benoeming van de curator of curatoren voordrachten doen.
Indien het verzoek wordt toegewezen, wordt de beschikking op een openbare zitting uitgesproken en wordt een uittreksel ervan onverwijld door de curator bekendgemaakt in de Staatscourant, het Publicatieblad van de Europese Unie, alsmede in ten minste twee door de rechtbank aan te wijzen Nederlandse dagbladen en ten minste twee door de rechtbank aan te wijzen landelijke dagbladen van iedere lidstaat waar een bijkantoor van de bank is gelegen of waarnaar zij diensten verricht. De uittreksels vermelden naam en zetel van de bank, de woonplaats of het kantoor van de curator alsmede de datum van de beschikking. De publicatie in de landelijke dagbladen geschiedt in de officiële taal of talen van de betrokken lidstaat. In de bekendmaking in het Publicatieblad van de Europese Unie en de landelijke dagbladen van iedere lidstaat waar de bank een bijkantoor heeft of waarnaar zij diensten verricht wordt daarenboven vermeld dat op het faillissement, behoudens uitzonderingen, Nederlands recht van toepassing is, de rechtsgrondslag, of de Europese Centrale Bank dan wel De Nederlandsche Bank N.V. de bevoegde toezichthouder is, alsmede de uiterste datum waarop tegen de beschikking beroep in cassatie kan worden ingesteld met vermelding van het volledige adres van de Hoge Raad en het onderwerp van de beschikking.
