Each Contracting State shall pay to the Organisation in respect of each renewal fee received for a European patent in that State an amount equal to a proportion of that fee, to be fixed by the Administrative Council; the proportion shall not exceed 75% and shall be the same for all Contracting States. However, if the said proportion corresponds to an amount which is less than a uniform minimum amount fixed by the Administrative Council, the Contracting State shall pay that minimum to the Organisation.
Each Contracting State shall communicate to the Organisation such information as the Administrative Council considers to be necessary to determine the amount of these payments.
The due dates for these payments shall be determined by the Administrative Council.
If a payment is not remitted fully by the due date, the Contracting State shall pay interest from the due date on the amount remaining unpaid.
Elke Verdragsluitende Staat betaalt aan de Organisatie over een voor de instandhouding van een Europees octrooi in die Staat ontvangen jaartaks, een bedrag dat overeenkomt met een door de Raad van Bestuur vast te stellen percentage van die taks; dit percentage mag niet hoger zijn dan 75% en is voor alle Verdragsluitende Staten gelijk. Indien dit bedrag echter lager ligt dan het door de Raad van Bestuur voor alle Verdragsluitende Staten vastgestelde minimumbedrag, dan betaalt de Verdragsluitende Staat dit minimumbedrag aan de Organisatie.
Elke Verdragsluitende Staat verstrekt aan de Organisatie alle gegevens die de Raad van Bestuur nodig acht voor het vaststellen van de hoogte van deze betalingen.
De data waarop deze betalingen dienen te zijn verricht, worden vastgesteld door de Raad van Bestuur.
Indien op de vastgestelde datum een betaling niet volledig is verricht, is de Verdragsluitende Staat vanaf die datum over het niet betaalde bedrag rente verschuldigd.
