Agriculture shall be understood to mean, in each case insofar as it is carried out on a commercial basis: arable farming; grassland farming; animal husbandry; poultry farming; horticulture, including fruit growing and the cultivation of trees, flowers and flower bulbs; the cultivation of osier and reeds; and any other branch of soil cultivation, with the exception of forestry.
Onder landbouw wordt verstaan, steeds voorzover bedrijfsmatig uitgeoefend: akkerbouw; weidebouw; veehouderij; pluimveehouderij; tuinbouw, daaronder begrepen fruitteelt en het kweken van bomen, bloemen en bloembollen; de teelt van griendhout en riet; elke andere tak van bodemcultuur, met uitzondering van de bosbouw.
