The choice referred to in the previous article shall be made by making a declaration to that effect at the registry of the court of the last place of residence of the deceased. The declaration shall be entered in the estate register.
As long as the estate has not been accepted by all heirs, the subdistrict court (kantonrechter) may prescribe the measures it deems necessary for the preservation of the assets.
De in het vorige artikel bedoelde keuze wordt gedaan door het afleggen van een daartoe strekkende verklaring ter griffie van de rechtbank van het sterfhuis. De verklaring wordt in het boedelregister ingeschreven.
Zolang de nalatenschap niet door alle erfgenamen is aanvaard, kan de kantonrechter de maatregelen voorschrijven die hij tot behoud van de goederen nodig acht.
