The Committee of Ministers is authorised to make such amendments to this treaty as are necessary to ensure the conformity of this treaty with an international treaty or with the regulations of the European Union regarding trademarks and designs or models. The amendments shall be published in the official gazette of each of the High Contracting Parties.
The Committee of Ministers is authorised to adopt amendments to this Convention other than those referred to in the first paragraph. These shall be submitted to the High Contracting Parties for their consent or approval.
The Committee of Ministers is authorised, after having heard the Board of Directors, to empower the Director-General to negotiate on behalf of the Organisation and, with its consent, to conclude agreements with states and with intergovernmental organisations.
Het Comité van Ministers is bevoegd in dit verdrag de wijzigingen aan te brengen die noodzakelijk zijn om de conformiteit van dit verdrag met een internationaal verdrag of met de regelgeving van de Europese Unie inzake merken en tekeningen of modellen te verzekeren. De wijzigingen worden bekend gemaakt in het officiële publicatieblad van ieder der Hoge Verdragsluitende Partijen.
Het Comité van Ministers is bevoegd andere wijzigingen van dit verdrag, dan die bedoeld in het eerste lid, vast te stellen. Deze zullen aan de Hoge Verdragsluitende Partijen ter instemming of goedkeuring worden aangeboden.
Het Comité van Ministers is bevoegd, de Raad van Bestuur gehoord hebbende, de Directeur-Generaal te machtigen om namens de Organisatie te onderhandelen en, met zijn toestemming, overeenkomsten te sluiten met staten en met intergouvernementele organisaties.
