During the court hearing, the following measures may be taken for the victim with specific protection needs identified in accordance with Article 10, paragraph 1:
no eye contact can take place between the victim and the suspects, including during the giving of a witness statement, by using appropriate means, including communication technology in accordance with Article 131a of the Act and Article 78a of the Code of Criminal Procedure;
The victim may be heard in the courtroom without being present therein, in particular by means of suitable communication technology in accordance with Article 131a of the Act and Article 78a of the Code of Criminal Procedure;
The court shall order the proceedings to be held in camera in accordance with Article 269 of the Act.
Tijdens het onderzoek ter terechtzitting kunnen de volgende maatregelen worden genomen voor het overeenkomstig artikel 10, eerste lid, geïdentificeerde slachtoffer met specifieke beschermingsbehoeften:
tussen slachtoffer en verdachten, onder meer tijdens het afleggen van een getuigenverklaring, kan geen oogcontact plaatsvinden, doordat gebruik wordt gemaakt van passende middelen, waaronder communicatietechnologie overeenkomstig artikel 131a van de wet en artikel 78a van het Wetboek van Strafrecht;
het slachtoffer kan in de rechtszaal worden gehoord zonder daar aanwezig te zijn, in het bijzonder door middel van geschikte communicatietechnologie overeenkomstig artikel 131a van de wet en artikel 78a van het Wetboek van Strafrecht;
de rechter beveelt behandeling met gesloten deuren overeenkomstig artikel 269 van de wet.
