After consultation with the registrars of births, deaths and marriages, the Mayor and Aldermen shall decide on the entering into, amendment and termination of employment contracts with the personnel referred to in Article 3. The personnel shall receive their instructions from the registrar of births, deaths and marriages under whose direction they perform their duties, and shall be directly subordinate to him or to the registrar who replaces him.
Na overleg met de ambtenaren van de burgerlijke stand besluiten burgemeester en wethouders tot het aangaan, wijzigen en beëindigen van arbeidsovereenkomsten met het personeel bedoeld in artikel 3. Het personeel ontvangt van de ambtenaar van de burgerlijke stand, onder wiens leiding het zijn werkzaamheden verricht, zijn instructie en is aan hem of de ambtenaar die hem vervangt, onmiddellijk ondergeschikt.
