By Royal Decree, municipal executive boards (colleges van burgemeester en wethouders) may be required to conduct a special investigation into the state of public housing, in accordance with regulations to be provided in that decree.
Financial resources from the State treasury may be provided to municipalities to cover the costs associated with an investigation as referred to in the first paragraph.
Bij koninklijk besluit kunnen colleges van burgemeester en wethouders worden verplicht, overeenkomstig bij dat besluit te geven voorschriften, een bijzonder onderzoek naar de staat van de volkshuisvesting in te stellen.
Aan gemeenten kunnen financiële middelen uit ’s Rijks kas worden verstrekt ter bestrijding van de kosten, verbonden aan een onderzoek als bedoeld in het eerste lid.
