Every power of the suspect granted by this Title shall also vest in the counsel who assists the suspect present at the hearing or who has been admitted to the defence of the absent suspect pursuant to Article 279, paragraph 1.
In all cases in which this Title requires the consent or the hearing of the suspect or their counsel, this shall only apply in respect of the suspect or their counsel present at the court hearing.
Elke bevoegdheid van de verdachte die bij deze Titel is toegekend, komt ook toe aan de raadsman die de ter terechtzitting aanwezige verdachte bijstaat ofwel op grond van artikel 279, eerste lid, tot verdediging van de afwezige verdachte is toegelaten.
In alle gevallen waarin bij deze Titel de toestemming of het horen van de verdachte of diens raadsman wordt gevorderd, geldt dit alleen ten opzichte van de op de terechtzitting aanwezige verdachte of diens raadsman.
