The legal counsel is authorised to attend the examinations by the examining magistrate, unless the interest of the investigation prohibits this.
The examining magistrate may, if he deems it desirable in the interest of the investigation, also grant the suspect the opportunity to attend the examination of a witness or expert.
Article 186, paragraphs 2 and 3, shall apply mutatis mutandis to the counsel and the suspect.
De raadsman is bevoegd de verhoren van de rechter-commissaris bij te wonen, tenzij het belang van het onderzoek dit verbiedt.
De rechter-commissaris kan, indien hij dit in het belang van het onderzoek wenselijk acht, ook de verdachte in de gelegenheid stellen het verhoor van een getuige of deskundige bij te wonen.
Artikel 186, tweede en derde lid, is ten aanzien van de raadsman en de verdachte van overeenkomstige toepassing.
