In cases concerning minor defendants, the prosecution may be suspended if, concurrently with the prosecution, a petition for the termination of parental authority or the termination of guardianship over the defendant, or a petition or claim for the placement of the minor under supervision, is pending with respect to both or one of the parents, or the guardian, respectively, until such time as the decision thereon has become irrevocable.
In zaken betreffende minderjarige verdachten kan de vervolging worden geschorst, indien, gelijktijdig met de vervolging, ten aanzien van beide of een der ouders, onderscheidenlijk de voogd, een verzoek tot beëindiging van het gezag, onderscheidenlijk beëindiging van de voogdij, over de verdachte dan wel een verzoek of een vordering tot ondertoezichtstelling aanhangig is, en wel totdat de beslissing daarop onherroepelijk zal zijn geworden.
