The complaint may be filed within three months from the day on which the person entitled to file the complaint has become aware of the committed act.
If the person against whom the offence has been committed has died after the period has commenced, or has lost, acquired or regained the right to file a complaint, this period shall continue to run without extension.
De klacht kan worden ingediend gedurende drie maanden na de dag waarop de tot klacht gerechtigde kennis heeft genomen van het gepleegde feit.
Indien degene tegen wie het feit is begaan, nadat de termijn een aanvang heeft genomen, is overleden, dan wel het recht tot het indienen van de klacht heeft verloren, verkregen of herkregen, loopt deze termijn zonder verlenging door.
