In the event of an alteration of the text of a cheque, those who have placed their signatures on the cheque thereafter are bound according to the altered text; those who have placed their signatures on the cheque prior thereto are bound according to the original text.
In geval van verandering van den tekst van eene chèque zijn zij, die daarna hunne handteekeningen op de chèque geplaatst hebben, volgens den veranderden tekst verbonden; zij, die daarvoor hunne handteekeningen op de chèque geplaatst hebben, zijn verbonden volgens den oorspronkelijken tekst.
