By the endorsement, all rights arising from the cheque are transferred.
If the endorsement is in blank, the holder may:
fill in the blank, either with his own name or with the name of another person;
endorse the cheque again in blank or to another person;
deliver the cheque to a third party, without filling in the blank, and without endorsing it.
Door het endossement worden alle uit de chèque voortvloeiende rechten overgedragen.
Indien het endossement in blanco is, kan de houder:
het blanco invullen, hetzij met zijn eigen naam, hetzij met den naam van een anderen persoon;
de chèque wederom in blanco of aan een anderen persoon endosseeren;
de chèque aan eenen derde overgeven, zonder het blanco in te vullen, en zonder haar te endosseeren.
