The cheque, the amount of which is written out in full in words and also in figures, is valid, in the event of a discrepancy, for the sum written out in full in words.
The cheque, the amount of which is written more than once, either in full in words or in figures, is valid, in the event of a discrepancy, only up to the amount of the smallest sum.
