The following persons are employed at the public prosecutor's office at the court of appeal (ressortsparket):
a national chief advocate general;
four principal advocates general;
Advocates General
deputy advocates-general;
other officials.
Senior advocates-general and trainee public prosecutors may be employed at the district public prosecutor's office (ressortsparket).
The National Chief Advocate General, with the title of Head of the Regional Public Prosecutor's Office (ressortsparket), stands at the head of the Regional Public Prosecutor's Office. He may issue general and specific instructions to the officials working at his office regarding the exercise of the tasks and powers of the office. In the event of the absence, impediment, or vacancy of the Head of the Regional Public Prosecutor's Office, he shall be replaced by a Chief Advocate General working at the Regional Public Prosecutor's Office.
The national chief advocate-general, chief advocates-general, senior advocates-general, advocates-general and deputy advocates-general are, by operation of law, deputy advocates-general at the office of the prosecutor-general.
Bij het ressortsparket zijn werkzaam:
een landelijk hoofdadvocaat-generaal;
vier hoofdadvocaten-generaal;
advocaten-generaal;
plaatsvervangende advocaten-generaal;
andere ambtenaren.
Bij het ressortsparket kunnen senior advocaten-generaal en officieren in opleiding werkzaam zijn.
Aan het hoofd van het ressortsparket staat de landelijk hoofdadvocaat-generaal met de titel van hoofd van het ressortsparket. Hij kan algemene en bijzondere aanwijzingen geven aan de bij zijn parket werkzame ambtenaren betreffende de uitoefening van de taken en bevoegdheden van het parket. In geval van afwezigheid, belet of ontstentenis van het hoofd van het ressortsparket wordt hij vervangen door een bij het ressortsparket werkzame hoofdadvocaat-generaal.
De landelijk hoofdadvocaat-generaal, hoofdadvocaten-generaal, senior advocaten-generaal, advocaten-generaal en plaatsvervangende advocaten-generaal zijn van rechtswege plaatsvervangend advocaat-generaal bij het parket-generaal.
