The Public Prosecution Service consists of:
the Office of the Prosecutor General;
the district public prosecutor's offices;
the National Public Prosecutor's Office (het landelijk parket);
the functional public prosecutor's office;
the Central Processing Unit of the Public Prosecution Service (het parket centrale verwerking openbaar ministerie)
the public prosecution service at the court of appeal (ressortsparket)
There is a district public prosecutor's office (arrondissementsparket) in each of the districts mentioned in the Judiciary Organisation Act (Wet op de rechterlijke indeling).
By way of derogation from the second paragraph, there shall be one district public prosecutor's office for the districts of Gelderland and Overijssel jointly, named the District Public Prosecutor's Office of East Netherlands.
Het openbaar ministerie bestaat uit:
het parket-generaal;
de arrondissementsparketten;
het landelijk parket;
het functioneel parket;
het parket centrale verwerking openbaar ministerie;
het ressortsparket.
Er is een arrondissementsparket in elk van de arrondissementen, genoemd in de Wet op de rechterlijke indeling.
In afwijking van het tweede lid is er één arrondissementsparket in de arrondissementen Gelderland en Overijssel gezamenlijk, genaamd arrondissementsparket Oost-Nederland.
